International Year One in Business Management

Overview

This two-semester course is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. It aims to help you develop the skills you need to join the second year of a related degree at the University of Leeds, by building on your pre-existing English language skills and supporting you through the introduction to a British-style university curriculum. Teachers work closely with students to bring you a tailored, personal studying experience and allow you to seamlessly enter an undergraduate degree.

Key information

This International Year One course will give you a strong grounding in key themes of business management, including human behaviour in business, innovative corporate strategies and management functions. It will also further develop your English language, information technology and independent study skills through a range of insightful modules. After successfully completing the programme, and achieving the required grades, you will be able to progress to the second year of Business Management BA at the University of Leeds.
