Pathways are available to progress to the second year of SFU’s Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in the Faculty of Health Sciences. Programs in the Health Sciences combine scientific inquiry with social and behavioural research to examine the underlying causes of health and disease and the factors that influence population health.
The Faculty of Health Sciences stresses experiential learning over a range of experiences, including field courses, immersive Co-op education opportunities, laboratory courses (benchside and computational), and team-based project learning that addresses real community health needs.
Your instructors during the pathway are highly qualified and certified to ensure students have the very best preparation for the demands of higher education in Canada. Each program area offers small class sizes, diverse courses, and volunteering opportunities. All of which combined, maximize the learning opportunities, growth of creativity, and the student’s passion.
