Upon successful completion of the Undergraduate Pathway program in Visual Arts, you will be ready to start your undergraduate degree in visual arts from Marshall University.

Notes

Students using Password and PTEA as proof of English level will take an English placement test upon arrival. Students scoring below the required entry will be placed in Academic English.

Academic undergraduate courses in the Pathway may be substituted with other academic undergraduate courses. Based on evaluation of applicant's undergraduate transcript, some 300/400-level foundation courses may be required. Foundation course include ACC 311, ACC 312, ACC 318, ACC 341, ACC 348, and ACC 429. Each Foundation course increases the total credit hours required for graduation in the degree program by 3 credit hours. Should Foundation courses be required, they will replace graduate level courses in the Pathway. No Summer courses are offered for this program.

ART classes may be taken in different sequences (for example, a student may take ART 101 the second semester instead of the first), depending on course availability.

Student using PASSWORD, PTEA or GoaKao as proof of English proficiency will take an English placement test upon arrival. Students scoring below the required entry will be placed in Academic English. Students will be enrolled for an average of 15 credits per semester in the fall and spring semesters. Students will be enrolled in no less than 12 credit hours in summer semester.
